Knowledge truly is power. However, knowledge when it comes to e-discovery means knowing where the information is and how to use or access it. Electronic discovery remains a complicated and often costly issue. Experience: Dearly Bought
I ran across this quote this morning. Its from the original GW - the revered first president of these United States.
“We should not look back unless it is to derive useful lessons from past errors, and for the purpose of profiting by dearly bought experience.”
I have "suffered" through an interesting week to say the least; learning some important lessons that can be distilled down to a simple proven theory - "appearance and size don't so much matter; functionality and effectiveness however do"
GW provided some appropriate guidance which I am taking to heart.
While it is important that we “derive useful lessons from past errors” well things can and will go wrong. It’s not the “oh no” that’s important; It’s what we choose to do when “oh no” happens. Look back only long enough to profit from “dearly bought experience”and move on bigger and stronger than ever.
